You as a Director, Finance - Infrastructure Services Technology (IST) will :

Provide COO with financial and operational analysis of results, providing the proper focus on the relevant issues, risks, and opportunities.

Provide strategic financial advice to the COO and IST leadership team.

Provide financial review, evaluation, and approval of all capital expenditures.

Provide advice and consultation to COO, in respect of the operations, acquisition, disposition, development, strategic planning, and budgeting

Work with all IST teams to develop strategies for achieving financial targets and report to COO on progress.

Work with joint venture organizations to ensure compliance with audit processes and accurate reporting for IST.

Be responsible for audit functions for IST entities.

Be responsible for reporting requirements associated with government and non-government organizations where IST has received funding (i.e. grants)

Support the development, review, interpretation, and distribution of all financial statements in an accurate and timely manner.

Be responsible for IST internal financial controls.

Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.

Develop an organization, professionally staffed with appropriate skills to support the achievement of IST objectives. This includes the development, motivation, supervision, and retainage of all direct reports.

Develop recommendations and strategies on implementation plans and identify business benefits and project costs.

Manage complex stakeholder negotiations and commit to provide solutions with a win/win mindset.

Develop program of continuous improvement and foster sustainable change initiative

Is this the right role for you?

You have a professional accounting designation (CPA) combined with 10+ years of accounting and management experience.

You have a strong understanding of Financial Standards (ASPE, IFRS, GAAP).

You have experience migrating a business from one financial platform to another

You are a self-starter, highly motivated, detailed oriented and relentless in the pursuit of process improvement.

You have excellent planning and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a high-paced / performance driven environment.
