Position: Municipal Engineer
Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Our client is currently seeking to add a Civil/Municipal Engineer at their Edmonton location.
Responsibilities:
Formulate detailed drawings and designs utilizing Civil 3D
Prepare civil related engineering reports and analyses
provide construction cost estimates, project specifications and contract documents
Deal with engineering calculations for water, sewer, and drainage systems
oversee project documents and complete required technical submissions
Work alongside the Project Manager to ensure tasks are completed for projects to move forward
Deal and handle clients-facing responsibilities - contractors, project team members and stakeholders on multiple projects
Qualifications:
A degree in civil engineering or related field
10-15 years’ experience in municipal/land development
Must be a registered professional engineer in good standing with APEGA
Knowledge in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
Ability to remain professional and tackle challenging situations with ease
Ability to work alongside other disciplinary teams
Must be able to meet deadlines with excellent prioritization skills
Must be have a go-getter attitude/self starter
Be comfortable with travel - must hold a valid driver's license
