Maintenance Technician
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for fixing things? We're seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Camp Services team at our Nisutlin Bridge Lodge in Teslin, YT ! In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring our facilities run efficiently with routine maintenance and repairs. If this sounds like a challenge you’re ready for, read on to learn more.
ROLE:
From fixing electrical issues to maintaining plumbing systems, you know how to keep a facility in tip-top shape and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
You will monitor the daily temperature and humidity of the building(s) as well as perform building repairs including drywall, paint, flooring, carpentry, ceiling tile and grid.
Provide quick and detailed responses to changes in client requirements and amendments in scope.
Accountable for daily facility and mechanical site inspections and to ensure all operations meet and align with customer regulations, federal and provincial health and safety legislations, and corporate policies.
WHAT YOU BRING:
Vendor management in a 24/7 setting is your specialty and you pride yourself on providing strong customer service with excellent communication skills.
You value safety and have the ability to work with a wide variety of hand and power tools as well as other materials with a safety first focus.
Basic PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
A valid Class 5 drivers license and a clean drivers abstract is required
You have the ability to prioritize and multitask and work well under pressure
CSTS is required and a First Aid certification is considered an asset

This is a rotational position with 14 days on/14 days off. While on site, enjoy all meals, accommodation, and amenities free of charge.
Travel allowance
$29/h base wage + opportunity for overtime.
