Hotel General Manager

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement effective business strategies to enhance the hotel's performance, profitability, and reputation within the local and broader hospitality market.
Exceptional Guest Experiences: Uphold high standards of customer service and ensure that the hotel consistently delivers a memorable and personalized guest experience.
Operations Oversight: Supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure seamless and efficient day-to-day operations.
Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, analyze budgets, and implement cost-effective measures to optimize revenue, control expenses, and maximize profitability.
Staff Management and Development: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development and growth among staff members.
Quality Standards: Ensure that the hotel maintains high-quality standards in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall guest satisfaction, in line with the brand's ethos and values.
Community Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community stakeholders to promote the hotel and establish a positive presence within the community.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure that the hotel operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards, and implement necessary protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Marketing and Sales Initiatives: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective promotional strategies, advertising campaigns, and sales initiatives to drive revenue and increase occupancy rates.
Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports to ownership or corporate management, and maintain open communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably within a boutique or luxury hotel setting.
Strong financial acumen and proven experience in managing budgets, financial planning, and cost control measures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding business goals and objectives, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
Comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices within the hospitality sector.
Proficiency in hotel management software and systems.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
A customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
