POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Director of Hospitality (DOH), your primary focus will be to provide coaching and mentorship to operators within your market portfolio. This role encompasses various areas such as budgeting, forecasting, business development, operational standard operating procedures (SOPs), owner and guest relations, revenue management, yielding, hiring/firing, and accounting.

Your day-to-day activities will involve conducting virtual meetings and in-person interactions as necessary, managing owner and Homeowners Association (HOA) and STRATA relations, and overseeing organizational budgeting processes. Your main function as a DOH will be ensuring the seamless operation of all business activities. By leveraging your expertise and experience, you will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of our hospitality operations.

With outstanding performance and the right talent, the potential also exists for you to take on expanded responsibilities, such as managing Tremblant operations and other Canadian portfolios in the future, as well as additional potential growth paths available, such as the opportunity to become a Vice President of Operations, overseeing both US and Canadian operations, or even exploring a role as a Director of Sales for Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee all aspects of hospitality operations, including guest services, owner relations, technology implementation, best practices, and contract compliance.

Lead the Operations Team in Western Canada, providing guidance and support.

Handle issue escalation, troubleshooting, and resolution.

Train and coach Operations Team members.

Conduct regular meetings and visits to each hospitality market.

Collaborate with all leadership team members.

Support growth and expansion in existing and new markets.

Take on additional projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a resident of British Columbia.

Extensive experience in all operational aspects of hotel/vacation/property management.

Familiarity with BC and Alberta rules and regulations, tax, and compliance obligations.

Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.

Experience in managing multiple teams in British Columbia.

In-depth knowledge of Western Canada mountain regions.

Able and willing to travel to all portfolios often and as needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary + Bonus: OTE (on track earnings) of up to $150,000 (with bonuses)

Bonus: This position is eligible for bonuses related to the direct addition of properties.
