Job Description Ensure the compliance of the different companies of the group with the Canadian/US legislation regarding income tax and various taxes.
Prepare the tax returns of the Canadian companies.
Calculate the annual tax provision of the group companies.
Planning to optimize any tax benefits and/or credits for the companies and their shareholders.
Provide support during tax audits by various levels of government.
• Ensure sales tax compliance for the companies.
Ensure proper accounting of tax related transactions.
All other related tasks. Qualifications.
Qualifications CPA, CA designation and advanced training in taxation (Asset).
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a company.
Experience with CaseWare/Taxprep considered and asset.
Organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Autonomous.
Bilingualism (English and French - Considered an Asset).
