Production Supervisor

Be responsible for the leadership, supervision and engagement of team members in order to safely meet quality standards and production objectives.

Actively track objectives to achieve the daily and weekly production, quality and on-time delivery objectives.

Communicate effectively to ensure team members are informed of their responsibilities.

In collaboration with other members of the supervisory team, be responsible for workforce planning and time management.

Continuously develop the high-performing, versatile and skilled team members.

Participate in meetings related to production, quality and health and safety at work.

Compile, analyse and publish daily, weekly, and monthly statistics on project status and on-time delivery performance.

Lead by example the health and safety initiatives.

Support the introduction of new products.

Identify improvements to be made to processes.

Education + Experience Required

College diploma in industrial engineering, Electronics, Operations Management and/or in a related field;

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role in an Assembly/Production environment.

Qualifications + Skills Required

Assembly Line and/or Production experience.

Results oriented and dedicated to continuous process improvement.

Be able to manage several tasks at once;

Ability to promote teamwork and employee accountability in a context of constant and rapid change;

Be able to motivate employees and engage them in achieving a common goal;

Posses excellent interpersonal communication skills;

Knowledge of Windows environment.

Essential bilingualism (French and English spoken and written), because the position holder will be required to interact daily with international colleagues, clients and partners who do not speak French.

Supervisory skillset in order to motivate and direct assembly staff to fulfil schedule requirements to meet customer needs.
