Marketers on Demand is looking to recruit an experienced Systems Design Specialist for a great client of ours in the GTA. This position will be responsible for supporting and executing a variety of tasks such as working with system development life cycles and the development in software based system applications. This role is a contract position that runs for one year (to start) with a competitive salary and the chance to partner with an industry leader.Roles and responsibilities:Develop and define system design features to meet Customer requirementsPerform signaling design, analysis, modelling and simulationDevelop block design, interlocking control tables, and application database for Software subsystemsAnalyze and evaluate system performance and prepare associated technical contract deliverablesAnalyze and evaluate designs to verify compliance with system technical requirementsWork in cross functional environment with a variety of stakeholdersPerforms technical/engineering tasks to define, application databases for software subsystemsQualifications:University degree in Computer sciences, Engineering or a closely related field3+ years of similar experience in development of software-based System applications.Knowledge of systems engineering principles and practicesExperience in using DOORS, Melody advance or similarStrong technical writing and communication skillsStrong Project Management experiencePlease note, this is a hybrid position that requires you to be on-site twice a week.Interested candidates can apply directly or reach out to [email protected] for more info.
