In the IndustrialMaintenance Mechanic position, you will conduct a variety of regularpreventative and predictive maintenance activities on the equipment and facilities.You will also perform a variety of maintenanceservices including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing ofvarious types of CNC, welding, laser, and manufacturing equipment as well assupport continuous advancement and implementation of the manufacturing systems,infrastructure and operations in a variety of ways.

Primary Responsibilities include:
General facilityand equipment maintenance including manufacturing equipment, materialhandling equipment, facility systems and structures, plumbing, electricalrepair and installations.
Maintenanceand repair to CNC controlled equipment.
Inspect andexamine machinery to detect and investigate irregularities andmalfunctions.
Adjustmachinery and repair or replace defective parts.
Dismantle,clean, repair, replace, install, maintain, design, assemble and lubricatemechanical equipment, safety equipment, air, water. Gas lines, including hydraulicand pneumatic systems.
Performrepairs, emergency repairs, installations and inspection work.
Performpreventative maintenance to equipment as required, including minorelectrical repairs and welding.
Install,examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes,conduits, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electricalcomponents.
Maintain,repair, test and install electrical motors, hydraulic and pneumaticelectrical and PLC control systems.
Clean,lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery/facility.
Setupnew and maintain existing equipment records, maintenance schedules, replacementparts lists, maintenance history and coordinate with outside service vendorsand keep all service records in an organized manner.
Enhanceequipment performance by recommending improvements and implementing.
Source andorder replacement parts and safety parts or liaise with purchasing. Pickup parts as necessary using the available company vehicle.
Install,align, dismantle and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipmentand in a timely manner.
Use properlockout/tag out procedures when required, never allowing a machine to beoperated without proper guarding or when the possibility of injury isevident.
Clean workarea and equipment, and observe all safety regulations.
Ability to work after hours and weekends when repairs or projects require.
Licensed as an IndustrialMechanic / Millwright and/or Licensed Industrial Electrician OR Completionof an Industrial Mechanic / Millwright program recognized by the OntarioColleges an asset.
Experience as Heavy equipmentmechanic, Automotive mechanic or related post-secondary education.
Basic welding and fabricationskills.
Knowledge of and experience with CNCcontrolled equipment, machining and fabrication equipment motors, hydraulicsand pneumatics, conveyor systems, PLC's and robotics.
Able to evaluate,prepare and execute preventative/ predictive maintenance schedules.
Able to read& understand all codes & regulations (Federal, Provincial and Municipal)Preferred candidates have own tools necessary to perform maintenance tasks,specialized tools provided by Demtool.
Positiveattitude with the ability to interact effectively with all team members.
Strongcommunication skills, both verbal and written.
G drivers license with clean driving record.
Strongorganizational skills, able to prioritize requests and tasks to keepproduction going.
