Sienna Senior Living (TSX: SIA), is one of Canada’s largest owners and operators of 81 seniors’ living residences, in addition to managing 12 residences for third parties. We offer care, support, services and housing in Aspira Retirement and Long-Term Care to seniors/residents and their families. At Sienna, we empower our 12,000 team members across Ontario, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Alberta to help residents live the life they desire and deserve. The VPRO will lead approximately 8 retirement homes within the geographic area. The successful candidates will be tasked with delivering Aspira’s shared vision and realizing financial, operational, and team performance goals. These roles are instrumental in steering our Aspira Retirement Living and Operations towards excellence, aligning with Sienna’s commitment to quality and service.
What You’ll Be Doing: You will be a welcomed member of the Sienna Senior Leadership team, working proactively to drive best in class performance:
and define an operational plan for each home and the overall region to improve growth and performance, elevate quality of care and strengthen team member engagement
and champion new initiatives to anticipate current & future needs of seniors and their families
engage with colleagues, community partners and regulatory bodies to consistently achieve results
organizational change to effectively anticipate and respond to the needs of residents and their families, leaders, team members and community stakeholders/partners
and build an effective leadership team by articulating expectations and inspiring commitment & performance
Who You Are: This is an opportunity to build and implement a highly successful operational plan for an organization that is dedicated to meaningful work and values seniors living life with comfort, dignity, and respect. Education and experience may come from the health sector or other industries (such as hospitality, retail, and asset/property management) where you have led large teams, worked in a fast-paced environment and worked with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
An exceptional leader with operational knowledge, strong business acumen and has a demonstrated track record of delivering results and continuously improving performance
Possess strong financial judgement, including P&L experience in developing, monitoring and reporting on annual operating and capital budget
Have a strong bias for customer service, specifically a passion for seniors and senior living
A collaborative senior leader that seeks diverse input from multiple sources and can flex their leadership style when faced with obstacles
A university graduate, with 8-10 year experience in a senior leadership role
The position requires on-site presence at homes minimum 3 days a week within a region
