System Analyst/Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a System Analyst/Engineer  to join our team. We are looking for an individual who values good technical, learning and communication skills. You will be responsible for customer support, on-call schedule, commissioning of systems, training, documentation and troubleshooting technical issues.

Reports to: Director of Services

Requirements:

Gain in-depth knowledge and fully understand of IPFusion software suite.

Learn our Integration solutions and assist with further development.

Contribute to the IPFusion knowledgebase and provide support to channel partners, integrators, and end users.

Support and maintain existing, current, and future IPFusion deployments.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software, hardware, and firmware problems.

Provide innovative solutions and ideas to the team.

Be a part of the On-Call team to handle issues which may arise after-hours, weekends, and on statutory holidays.

Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.

Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems.

In-depth knowledge of the TCP / IP protocol suite; security architecture; securing and hardening Operating Systems; Networks; Databases; and Applications.

Strong technical aptitude with a good understanding of software, hardware, and firmware platforms with the ability to apply overarching knowledge.

Experience with IT including working with networks, workstations, and servers.

Preferred Qualifications:

Formal or informal experience and understanding of a variety of enterprise software platforms.

Good knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, or RTLS systems is an asset.

Exceptionally self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Exceptional organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking.

Strong interpersonal skills and work well with others.
