NDAX has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated student to join us as a Data Analyst Summer Intern. This paid position is from May to mid-September 2024, with 8 hours of work per day.
This role is an on-site job and we are looking for someone based in Calgary.
Requirements
Working towards a bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (Must be in the 3rd or 4th year)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Knowledge of AI tools for data science like ChatGPT and Copilot
Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques
Experience with data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis
Knowledge of machine learning concepts
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities:
Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets to extract insights and identify trends
Assist in the development and implementation of data models and algorithms
Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support decision-making processes
Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various data-driven initiatives
