Position Overview:

We are looking to hire a Sage 300 Consultant/ Business Analyst. The Sage 300 Consultant / Business Analyst’s role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions as well as assist with upgrades, training, and support for the Sage 300 ERP solution. The business analyst works directly with customers to identify business requirements with sufficient detail and clarity to allow technical solution proposal development and deployment as well as use their problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of Sage 300 system investments. Additionally, the business analyst will work with other consultants, customer service, and sales team to develop and close services projects and maintain customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and ease of on-going support.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead project teams in defining, planning, and implementing the Sage 300 solution.

Manage projects utilizing appropriate tools and resources to document processes, timelines, and responsibilities.

Provide friendly phone, on-line, and on-site consulting services for our clients using Sage 300 software (ERP).

Work with customers to achieve the best solutions for customers to maximize product use, benefits, and functionality.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Travel 1 0% required.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or computer science, information technology, quality assurance, or equivalent strongly preferred.

Minimum of 5 plus years of experience using Sage 300

Understanding of operational processes and requirements in the ERP world, including but not limited to distribution and/or manufacturing with a functional competency in accounting, quote to cash, procure to pay, operations, e-commerce or CRM functions highly desired.

Experience in providing support related to product demonstrations and assisting in needs analysis and solution recommendations.

Experience with project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, business process mapping and end-to-end process experience desired.

Experience in utilizing defined and structured implementation processes and project management methodologies desired.

Develops and executes a challenging and interesting self-education and professional development plan.

Have professional exposure in business workflow and experience with product implementations.

Solid communication skills with good follow-up and follow-through on assigned tasks and responsibilities to timeline.

Communication Skills: Communicates well one-on-one, in small groups and public speaking. Keeps people informed. Writes clear, precise, well-organized documents using appropriate vocabulary, grammar, and word usage.

Analysis: Identifies significant problems and opportunities. Analyzes problems and people in depth. Determines root causes and offers appropriate solutions.

Customer Focused: Monitors client satisfaction and establishes partner relationship with clients. Visible and accessible to clients.

Pragmatism: Generates sensible, realistic, and practical solutions to projects.

This position is a US Based virtual position or can sit in our Windsor, Canada office and requires travel to client locations in the US.

Salary range: $78,000 to $100,000. “Please note that the quoted pay range for this job is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
