By leveraging our award-winning healthcare technology and the close working relationships established with our install base, the BDM Healthware team continues to transform the way care is delivered in a rapidly changing healthcare environment.The Project Manager will be responsible for managing software implementations for new and existing BDM customers. This person will be responsible for delivering projects on time and on budget overseeing all related activities. The Project Manager should be proficient at reacting quickly to changing priorities and goals and understand associated risks. Additional responsibilities may include project management support of internal R&D projects.Responsibilities:Overall project management of projects from initiation through closure maintaining accurate project plans throughout to ensure on-schedule/on-budget projectsAs required provide project management skills for internal facing R&D projectsDevelop, execute and manage the detailed project work plan monitoring day to day activities of the project teamEstablish and maintain effective communications regarding project status and provide status reports to customers as well as internallyManage project budgetsActively monitor project risks and scope creep to identify potential gaps. Proactively work with both the customer and the BDM team to mitigate the risks by providing reasonable solutions where possibleProvide effective issue resolution and conflict management skillsManage customer expectations to ensure the highest quality of service deliveryEssential Skills:Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication skillsExceptional organizational skillsExceptional problem-solving skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relations with management, colleagues, and other strategic partners Ability to deal with confidential informationProficiency in Google Workspace as well as MS Office Suite Outgoing and able to interact with many different people at many different levelsAbility to multitask and prioritize work accordingly to meet stringent deadlines.Strong discipline and self-motivated to develop new strategies and ideasHigh energy and positive, winning attitudeWillingness to travel anywhere within North America and potentially outside North AmericaWillingness to work weekends or nights as requiredExperience working with customersSuccessful delivery of medium to large projectsHighly Considered Candidates Will Have:Project Management Certification2+ years of demonstrated experience in implementation of project management methodologies from project scope development, planning, execution, monitoring, and tracking, as well as management of timeline and budget3+ years of experience in a healthcare field (nursing or pharmacy preferred) with an understanding of workflows utilized in various healthcare environmentsExperience in implementation of healthcare softwareBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceFrench Bilingualism
