Finance Manager
Professional Services
£50,000 - £60,000 + bens

My client is awell respected professional services provider based in Central London. Their current turnover is about £10 million, with a strong focus on client relationships and client orientation.
The Finance Manager reports directly to the company's Directors and is responsible for the firm's daily accounting operations and management of a small team.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Oversee accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Monitor general ledger and ensure completeness of reconciliations and year-end documentation.
Review and improve internal accounting and project reporting systems.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee preparation of tax returns.
Perform month-end closing and distribution of financial statements.
Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, IFRS, and GAAP.
Prepare monthly management accounts and reports for senior management.
Coordinate with parent company for weekly reporting.
Handle VAT returns for UK and foreign operations.
Complete end-of-year reporting on turnover, profit, and employee bonus schemes.
Coordinate with external auditors for annual returns and HMRC submissions.
Manage day-to-day activities of Finance team
Support month-end and year-end close process.
The ideal candidate will have a strong bookkeeping background and looking to make the step up to a Finance Manage position.In order to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, you must have good communication skills.
