About the Role Sago Mini / Nordlight is seeking a Growth Marketing Specialist who will lead the charge on day-to-day activities around executing digital campaigns to support our products. You’ll work to understand how we can scale up, deplore dollars, and optimize our paid user acquisition efforts. Working closely with our product team, you will understand their requirements and leverage this knowledge to execute successful campaigns.This is a one-year contract opportunity. Preference will be given to candidates that can work in a hybrid model where they will be required to work one day a week in our downtown, Toronto office. You’ll thrive in this role if you…Enjoy working collaboratively in a team environmentAre eager to learn and develop your skillsFind satisfaction in putting your head down to focus on your tasks at hand but are equally as glad to speak up and share your ideasLove to jump into the weeds and analyze numbers, patterns, and data What You’ll Be DoingResponsible for campaign management to support Nordlight / Rubik’s MatchPlanning, execution and management of mobile campaigns across various channels including: Meta, Google, TikTok, DSP Networks and moreIndependently manage performance marketing budgets across multiple channels to maximize growth and profitabilityOptimize campaigns based on ROAS and LTVOverseeing day-to-day channel strategy working with our advertising partners to maximize campaign performance.Contribute ad creative ideas and run creative testing and execute on creative strategies to attract new usersIdentifying areas of opportunity for testing, implementing, and monitoring those tests and reporting results to stakeholdersWorking with Global Growth Team Lead to implement and test new advertising channels and creative strategiesWork cross-functionally with product, product marketing managers, data, and creative teams.Being the advocate for paid user acquisition within the product teams – providing updates on performance, opportunities, and make recommendations as necessary Qualifications and Skills3 to 5 years of experience in media buying / user acquisition / performance marketing.Media buying experience with SDK Networks, DSPs, (including ironsource, unity ads, AdColony, Fyber and others) Facebook, Google Experience scaling results across a variety of channels including display and mobile advertisingPrevious experience focusing on brand-centric marketing, working with a message and vision along a brand journeyStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to manage competing prioritiesEagerness and drive to learn and develop skillsDesire to be a part of and work closely with a teamHighly motivated with an ability to thrive in a growing environmentStrong proficiency with Excel required Nice to HavesExperience, background, or knowledge in data science, data analytics, SQLPrevious experience working closely with product teamsUnderstanding of funnel conversion metrics, retention rates and LTV About the ProcessYou’ll get an email response confirming we’ve received your application, and we’ll let you know within a few weeks if we’d like to schedule a follow-up.If you’re moving ahead, we’ll book a call to learn more about your experience.
