About You:

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and empower with executive oversight a diverse marketing team consisting of numerous verticals by fostering an environment of accountability, creativity, collaboration, and outstanding performance

Establish and execute robust marketing plans under the marketing division umbrella for our leading fintech platform

Establish the department's vision and deliverables to achieve Propel’s 5-year strategic plan, setting clear priorities, key performance indicators (KPIs), goals, and a roadmap for each vertical under the Marketing umbrella

Employ a data-centric approach to decision-making, enhancing continual process optimization and revenue growth

Conduct market research, competitive tracking, and analysis of market data to identify market trends, user insights, develop new and enhanced marketing programs, brand trends, and gain a comprehensive understanding of customer needs

Build and nurture strong relationships with key internal/external stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Create, develop, and further build the team and infrastructure to execute on the marketing initiatives to meet the company’s 5-year strategic plan while working closely with the numerous divisions and cross-functionally throughout the organization

Align the marketing plan to meet budgetary requirements and work collaboratively to ensure effective allocation of funds

Requirements

15+ years in one or more marketing leadership roles with a proven track record within a scalable company; financial service or fintech industry preferred but not required

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

Strong business acumen, identifies as a true marketing professional, entrepreneurial, thrives in a fast-paced high growth environment, and a passion for building teams, coaching, and mentorship

Strong knowledge of varied marketing channels, including B2C digital customer acquisition with in-depth experience in paid search, paid social, display, affiliate marketing, and SEO

Experience successfully launching new scalable marketing initiatives, managing a budget, and optimizing the user journey

Strong analytical mindset and financial acumen

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and work cross-functionally throughout an organization

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands
