Human Resources Advisor

Kelowna, BC, Canada

This position would be responsible for administering any aspects of HR and being resourceful in delivery of HR programs remotely and on site. The company is currently in the process of implementing a HCMS, and the right person will be involved in coordination, administration of company procedures, policies and programs throughout the different subsidiaries.Key Responsibilities:Managing employee relations, proactively develop relationships within population and act as point of contact.Build a strong business relationship with leadership team and serve as a key adviser enabling strong management and leadership across the business.Work closely with Operations to ensure compliance of legal requirement and HR policies.Help Identify succession planning requirements.HCMS implementation and training.Work as a conduit between corporate and subsidiaries to identify and localize risks by communicating between subsidiaries and corporate operations.Provides support to HR Administrator and payroll for onboarding and offboarding of new employees and any other form of employment terms/conditions.Assisting local managers with performance management processes, providing training, documentation and direct support.Provides a variety of other HR related correspondence as needed or requested.Requirements:5+ years of Human Resources experience.Post secondary diploma or degree and/or desire to attain CPHR designation.Experience with Workday or UKG ERP system implementation would be an asset.Resourcefulness to think critically about situations and provide answers for Operation Managers around all functional areas of HR and/or advice for more complex HR inquiries.Proven ability to work independently and as part of at team, in person and remotely.
