Who You Are

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Manager, Data Protection Services to drive our team of global experts in safeguarding our customers' data. As a seasoned leader with extensive experience in backup and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, you will oversee the strategic growth and operational excellence of our data protection services. Your entrepreneurial spirit and ability to run the department like your own business will be instrumental in ensuring our customers' data assets are protected and our business thrives.

What You’ll Do

Direct and motivate a team of network engineer professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to protect our clients' network infrastructure.

Recruit, hire, train, and develop network engineer staff: Identify, assess, and hire top-tier network talent, providing comprehensive training and mentorship to foster a high-performing team.

Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network security devices, including but not limited to Barracuda, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks.

Set measurable targets and deadlines for the team, aligning their efforts with the organization's overall cybersecurity objectives.

Possess a proactive and innovative approach to network security management, seeking opportunities to optimize resource allocation and enhance profitability.

Make informed choices that align with the organization's financial goals, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.

Utilize data-driven insights to identify cost-saving measures, optimize resource utilization, and maximize ROI.

Identify potential market segments and develop innovative network engineering solutions and services to generate additional revenue streams.

Proactively identify and mitigate potential network security threats, ensuring continuous vulnerability management.

Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, implementing proactive measures to safeguard our clients' network.

Evaluate and select the most advanced and effective network engineering solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network security devices: Ensure the optimal performance and adherence to industry standards for network security devices.

Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing data breaches.

Conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes and implement preventive measures to prevent future incidents.

Collaborate effectively with other teams to ensure comprehensive protection across the organization's IT infrastructure.

Build and maintain strong relationships with various vendors, ensuring the availability and optimal performance of engineering solutions.

Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance with the organization's policies, and continuous improvement of the security posture.

Proactively escalate issues to ensure timely resolution, minimizing disruptions and maintaining the integrity of our network security.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

10+ years of extensive experience in network security

Proven track record of successfully managing and leading network security teams

In-depth knowledge of network security technologies, best practices, and emerging trends

Extensive experience with Barracuda, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks security platforms

Expertise in security assessment and vulnerability management tools

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling effective decision-making in complex situations.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration and teamwork across diverse stakeholders.

Proactive and results-oriented approach, consistently exceeding expectations and driving positive outcomes.

Experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies, demonstrating adaptability to evolving technological landscapes.

Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners, ensuring seamless collaboration.
