PTSolutions founded in 1951, with 45 locations in the United States, is one of the leading suppliers of cutting tools, MRO, and machinery, and is ranked in the Top 50 industrial distributors in the United States. Joining PTSolutions and BTSG allows A.C.T. to accelerate our expansion plans, enhance our product/service offerings, and provide an even better customer experience. At A.C.T. we are looking to add to our growing team of Sales Representatives. In this position, you will be involved in making direct end-user calls and visits to further promote and develop A.C.T. as the customers. This role requires a highly motivated individual willing to invest time in growing their customer base in a very lucrative territory. A.C.T.’s primary target markets are machine shops, fabrication shops and major MRO shops for their shop supplies and tooling. Sales Department planning tools, (training provided).Execute the sales plan using A.C.T.'s go-to-market methods and strategies, (training provided).Initial and ongoing product training, (training provided).Working with our manufacturer sales reps as part of your go-to-market plan.Effectively work with all A.C.T. internal resources to support your go-to-market plan.Service and grow existing accounts and develop new prospect accounts.Sell A.C.T. product lines and achieve established sales and margin objectives.Assure timely completion of all sales administrative tasks as required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required To Be Successful In This Position: Selling is your game – sales success drives you.Must carry a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and have a vehicle to travel within their territory.Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and interpersonal are required.Previous industrial end-user sales success.Machining background an asset.Highly organized, motivated person with strong problem-solving and deductive reasoning skills who despises losing.Outgoing and friendly personality with an understanding of business fundamentals.Customer-centric attitude and a desire to grow with and contribute to a customer-focused company.Proficient use of Windows, CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office suite of products.Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. The Most Qualified Candidates Will Have: 2+ years of experience in SalesKnowledge of cutting tools and or direct experience in this industry.This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
