ABOUT THE ROLE:

Strong partnerships with different participants across the travel ecosystem will increasingly play a critical role in Plusgrade’s continued growth. Partnerships can allow Plusgrade to accelerate business development, amplify current core growth vectors, drive incremental revenues streams by distributing third-party products, and more. The partnership function is responsible for defining the partnership goals with the Executive Team, identifying the most impactful opportunities, developing partnership programs (value proposition, desired outcomes, commercial terms, etc.) and leading the execution through sourcing and collaboration across the organization. The partnership function also plays a lead role in nurturing and strengthening established partnerships.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Establish a vision for the partnership function with the executive team, leveraging your strong market knowledge and networkDefine annual objectives for the team and prioritize partnership opportunities based on the potential impact on the business; be accountable to the results of the partnership initial versus budgetLead the execution the current partnership opportunities including, sourcing of new partners, negotiating commercial terms, expanding current relationshipsStructure partnership by defining the goals, roles of stakeholders, desired outcomes and commercials terms; modeling the potential impact of the partnership on Plusgrade’s financial performanceAssess the product changes required to support the partnership and built a business case to procure necessary resourcesEstablish the framework for the legal agreements and led the review and negotiationTrack and report partnership performance to make data-driven decisions to optimize the partnerships and maximize resultsExpected to manage a team as the partnership function growsDevelop and manage a network of partners, notably by attending travel industry events, conferences and trade shows

YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:

-Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related business field.

-10 years in a leadership role, showcasing the ability to develop new partnerships, lead the execution of partnership opportunities, establish comprehensive partnership strategies, and effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive business development and revenue growth in the travel sector

- Strong knowledge of the travel ecosystem, including a deep understanding of airline, hospitality, cruise, passenger rail, and financial services sectors.

- Thrives under pressure and highly competent in a fast-paced teamwork environment.

- Strong verbal, and written communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to zoom out and zoom in.

- Strong research, financial modeling, analytical and valuation skills.

- Independent critical thinker with strong capabilities to solve complex problems.
