Aboutthe role
As aFinance Manager you’ll be responsible for consolidation of financial statementsand submitting them to the group reporting on a monthly basis. You’ll play akey role as a team lead for 5 – 7 accountants overseeing areas of consolidationand reporting, fixed asset / treasury, and general accounting for coreservices.
You’ll partnerwith the Operations leadership team to provide robust financial reporting andanalysis on actual financial performance for the Canada operations. You’ll manage completion of month-end close procedures for operating entities,analysis, and account reconciliations. You’ll support process improvements,ensuring a strong financial control environment is in place.
In thisrole you’ll regularly liaise with stakeholders internally and externallyincluding auditors, UK group reporting and more.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you’ll work in ahybrid approach with at least 2 days a week in the Drax Office in Vancouver. Thisis a fixed term contract (FTC) role for a maternity cover for 18 months.
About you
As anideal candidate you’ll be a designated accountant, well versed with the IFRSreporting standards, having managed a team for at least 3 to 5 years of morethan 5 people.
Yourknowledge of financial accounting, consolidation, and reporting, along with managerialexperience would be integral to the role.
Your strongcommunication, leadership and stakeholder relationships, resilience and agilitywould set you apart.

Thisrole would have a hybrid approach with at least 2 days a week, in the Vancouveroffice.
