Job Description
Our client, an established and continually expanding company in the healthcare sector, is seeking an experienced, team-focused Accountant to join their team in Halifax, NS.
This is a contract position for 4 6 months+ with strong potential for permanent due to the companys continued growth. If youre looking for an innovative opportunity that presents both challenge and growth within a collaborative and cohesive team environment, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities for the Job: Bank and trust account reconciliations
Journal entries
Month-end and year-end support
Variance analysis
Collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed
Other accounting duties as required
Experience & Attributes for Success: Post-secondary education in accounting or related field
3 years+ progressive, full cycle accounting experience
High level proficiency with accounting software
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Uphold a high level of integrity and ethical standards
